Abilify® is a prescription antipsychotic medication used in the treatment of bipolar (or bi-polar) disorder and schizophrenia. Abilify® is also used as an add-on drug to fight depression in cases where antidepressants are not effective enough.

How to Get Abilify Samples
- Abilify® offers the first month's MDD treatment for free. The offer is also extended to adults who have used Abilify® before, but have not filled more than one prescription within 60 days. The Abilify Savings Card, available only to those who have been using antidepressants for six weeks or longer and aren't getting adequate results, provides one month free and then up to $100 off per month thereafter for up to 17 Abilify® refills. This program is not open to patients who receive prescription assistance from public sources like Medicare or Medicaid.
- Additional savings opportunities may be available to some Abilify® patients who can't afford the drug. Abilify Patient Assistance Programs offer qualifying patients up to three months of free medication. Abilify®, or apriprazole, is a prescription medication manufactured by the pharmaceutical company Bristol-Myers Squibb. The FDA has approved Abilify® for treating schizophrenia in patients 13 years of age and older, and bipolar disorder in patients 10 years of age and older. While there is currently no cure for bipolar disorder, Abilify® can treat the symptoms. Abilify® has also been approved for treatment of irritability associated with autism, and for use in treating depression when prescribed with an antidepressant medication. Common apriprazole side effects include headache, dizziness, nervousness, anxiety and constipation.
