Advair Diskus® and Advair HFA® are prescription steroid and bronchodilator combination drugs that open up the airways to allow easier breathing. Doctors use Adair in the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, or COPD. [1] Advair® does not treat sudden asthma attacks, so patients may still need to use a rescue inhaler. Advair® is approved for patients four years of age and older.[2]

Free samples of Advair may be available to patients interested in trying out the medication before spending unnecessary money on prescription costs, and may be available from doctors or healthcare providers. In addition to free samples, Advair® coupons and health discount plans are available to help patients afford Advair to manage their COPD symptoms.

How to Get Advair Samples

Advair® offers new patients their first 30-day prescription for free through the Advair Breathe Easier program. In addition to the free Advair®, patients will also receive educational materials to help them cope with the symptoms of asthma. Those who are already using Advair® are not eligible for the free 30-day trial offer. However, they may access a printable coupon good for $10 off of an Advair® prescription from the Advair® site. This coupon may be re-printed and used each month for continued savings. There is one coupon for Advair® for Asthma, and a different one for Advair 250/50 for COPD.[6]

Patients interested in obtaining a free trial-sized Advair Diskus® or other Advair® samples may also discuss the available sample options with their doctor. GlaskoSmithKline, manufacturers of the drug, often provides free samples of new and existing drugs to healthcare providers.

GlaskoSmithKline also offers a patient assistance program for Advair. It's called the Bridges to Access program, and there are certain requirements to receive aid through this resource. Patients may not have an insurance policy that covers prescription drugs. In addition, they must not earn more than 250% of the national poverty level. The Bridges to Access program is only offered to residents of the United States.

Medicare patients may qualify for free Advair® through the GSK Access program. To qualify, patients must have already spent at least $600 on prescription drugs in the current calendar year, and must also meet undisclosed. income requirements.

Other savings opportunities are available from additional patient assistance programs such as the Xubex Patient Assistance Program and the HealthWell Foundation Copay Program, as well as from the Together Rx Access drug discount card.
