Nasacort® coupons and savings programs can allow patients to afford their Nasacort® AQ prescription more easily. While the manufacturer does not have any printable coupons for consumers, patient assistance programs and drug savings card may lower the cost of this drug for some patients.
Nasacort® AQ is a prescription nasal spray that contains the active ingredient triamcinolone acetonide. It is a corticosteroid, and helps to relieve stuffy, runny nose from seasonal (outdoor) allergies or perennial allergic rhinitis (indoor allergies). It is indicated for adults and children age two and older, with dosage adjustments for younger children. The dosage may also be reduced once allergy symptoms are under control.

Nasacort®is only for use in the nose. The manufacturer instructs patients to shake the product well before using. If there is no relief after three weeks on Nasacort®, the manufacturer recommends discontinuing treatment with the drug.
The most common side effect of Nasacort® in clinical trials was headache, which 18 percent of test subjects reported having. Other common adverse reactions included nasal dryness, throat irritation, and sneezing. These were usually mild in nature, and only 1 percent of the test group stopped using Nasacort® due to unpleasant side effects.
Nasacort Patient Assistance Programs and Coupons
- Prescription savings cards can allow patients to pay less at the pharmacy. The Med$aver card, for example, saves consumers an average of 13 percent on Nasacort® prescriptions, although there is no guarantee of a discount. This drug savings card is free to print from home.
- Sanofi-Aventis allows physicians to request free samples of the company's medications, including Nasacort, through the company website. In order to request samples, doctors must create an account and register on the Sanofi Services website.
HealthWell Foundation Copay Program
The HealthWell Foundation Copay Program, a patient assistance program, helps patients with Nasacort® costs if they earn below 400 percent of the federal poverty level. This requirement may be adjusted according the cost of living in the patient's city. The program is open to those with or without prescription drug insurance, and patients may complete the application online or call 800-675-8416 to have one mailed.
